Coachella 2010

Definitely one of the greatest music festivals I have ever been to. Started in LA on Friday and drove to the desert, waited in traffic for 3 hours 1 mile away to get into the venue…started drinking….finally when we got there, we parked our car in some random spot then headed to the SAHARA TENT…basically where i spent my entire weekend…to see Benny Benassi throw down some serious beatsss, then it was off to Vampire Weekend who always throw down a good show, then Deadmau5 which was EPIC and then the closer of the night was Jay-Z who brought out Beyonce as a special guest for the song Forever Young. It was a pretty epic performance, ive gotta admit.

Day 2 I started early wandering around the festival grounds. There was so much to do and see, so much artwork and crazy cool things and people. But I ended up at the DO LAB for most of the morning dancing my heart out and getting water sprayed all over me…which I didnt mind cuz it was fucking HOT in the damn desert. The first show i went to was Temper Trap who are awesome and I got there right in time for my favorite song Sweet Disposition. Then I made my way back to the Sahara Tent to see Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Kascade, David Guetta, Z-Trip, and 2 Many DJs. It was seriously out of control. I did not leave the tent once, and by the end of the night was right in the front row for 2 Many DJs. God what a day, I could not believe it was only the second day and there was one more to follow.

Day 3 Rusko started off my day back in the Sahara Tent with Glitch Mob right after. Then I decided that maybe I should check out another stage since it was the last day and we cruised through Miike Snow, Sly and the Family Stone, Spoon, and Phoenix. And since I had class back in Colorado the next morning, I unfortunately had to sacrifice seeing the Gorillaz and started my loooooong drive back to CC.

But wow that festival was AMAZING. i am definitely going again next year. I ran into so many friends and made so many new ones, the experience was just so awesome its hard to describe. You will just have to go next year and find out for yourself.
