i want my MTV!

Ive always been a big fan of music videos, and Im sad that they arent as big of a thing as they were back when I was growing up. I remember back when MTV actually played music, before all the dumb reality shows and stupid skanky dating shows. When TRL was on every day and they played ONLY music vids after 10pm. God I miss those days. So heres a throwback, of all of my favorite music videos.

DESTINY - ZERO 7

talk about an amazing video. god this is so artistic and simple and beautiful. and the song just grabs at my soul its so amazing. zero 7 is such an amazing group, you’ve probably heard of their song In The Waiting Line which was on the Garden State soundtrack. its just so peaceful and pretty.

SITTING, WAITING, WISHING - JACK JOHNSON

this video is sooooo cool, they filmed it all in reverse and then play it backwards. I dont know how he was able to get his lips to match the music. its so awesome

if you havent heard of this band before, they are the bees knees.

They’re a duo from South Africa, and theyre all the rage down there, I just wish they would come up to the states so I can go see them in concert cuz theyre EPIC and they put on awesome shows. DEFINITELY check them out, you can download all their cds on iTunes

DUCKSAUCE….the new collaboration between French Canadiens DJ Armand Van Helden and A-Track (who is the brother of one of the members of Chromeo)

Their hit song is called BARBARA STREISAND and the video features artists such as Chromeo, Pharrell, Kanye West, Diplo, ?uestlove, Santigold and more.

Pretty Lights just released two music videos on their youtube page. This is one of my favorite tracks: Future Blind. Seriously some amazing cinematography!
